The Rhino ReCreation Scholarship
The Rhino ReCreation Center is proud to present a scholarship to a worthy Apache Junction high school graduate. The scholarship began with the 2024-25 school year. The recipient receives a certificate and $1000.00.
We are looking for applicants who best represent the core values of the Rhino ReCreation Center: Trustworthiness, Working Hard, Integrity, Responsibility and Friendliness. The students GPA is relevant, but we put more weight in community service, leadership abilities and the ability to think out of the box.
If you are interested, you must be a graduating senior from AJ high school. You can obtain the application from the guidance counselors office. The application must be submitted back to the counsellor in a timely manner. The staff of the Rhino ReCreation Center will review the applications to determine the recipient. The award will be presented at the High school awards night.
We reserve the right to not present a scholarship, during any given year, if there is not a worthy candidate application received.
